• We believe Sandy City's brightest days are ahead of us...

Sandy City's elected officials should honor our past, embrace our present, and lead forward with optimism!

Sandy City was founded in the mid-1800s by resilient pioneers who saw potential in the land between the east bank of the Jordan River and the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Originally a center for mining, agriculture, and rail commerce, Sandy quickly grew into a vibrant community rooted in hard work, independence, and strong family values. Over the decades, it has evolved from a frontier town into a thriving suburb known for its safe neighborhoods, excellent schools, and proud civic spirit.

But as Sandy has grown, so too have its challenges. Development has often outpaced infrastructure. Transparency and responsiveness in city government have lagged behind community needs. Decisions made without adequate public input have left many residents feeling unheard and left behind. "Tax and spend" policies driven by the Mayor's Office are making Sandy less affordable for families and seniors.

Now, more than ever, Sandy needs a new kind of leadership—one that honors our heritage of grit and innovation, while embracing smart growth, fiscal responsibility, and community-first, collaborative decision-making. We must preserve what makes Sandy special while preparing for the opportunities and challenges ahead.

The spirit that built Sandy is still alive in its people. It’s time for leadership that reflects that spirit—visionary, accountable, and committed to serving every resident.

    Fiscally Responsible

Raising taxes on residents during record inflation and uncertain economic times is fiscally irresponsible, especially when proposals have been offered to fund necessary services without increasing taxes.

    Collaborative

Elected officials across the region have found it difficult to collaborate with Sandy’s current leadership. Sandy is a vibrant, welcoming city built on cooperation, and we need officials who can work effectively with others.

Focused on Delivering Results for Sandy

Elected office is a position of service, not a throne. Sandy deserves a leader who sets aside ego and does what’s best for residents—who leads with compassion, not through intimidation and an iron fist.

    Visionary

Sandy City has missed opportunities that could have brought new amenities to the city and reduced the tax burden on residents. We deserve leaders with a strong vision for opportunities that enhance our quality of life.

    Motivational

Decades of experience and knowledge have left Sandy City in recent years. We need inspiring leaders who can recruit and cultivate world-class talent to invest in a bright, optimistic vision for the future.

    Consistent

Residents and businesses deserve consistency. A high turnover rate and an ad hoc policy approach create uncertainty and an uneven playing field.

    About Us

We're long-time residents who are concerned that Sandy City is no longer the family-friendly community it used to be. In fact, recent population data show that Sandy City is in decline.

We're families who have found life in Sandy to be increasingly unaffordable under the current administration, who continues to tax and spend! With high inflation and increased taxes on so many levels of government, we deserve leadership who will be our last line of defense in ensuring that government is responsive to our needs and our wallets.

We're young professionals who want a vibrant and active downtown core.

We're small businesses who are concerned about creating a thriving business-friendly environment that welcomes and celebrates innovation, not a city filled with shuttered strip malls and burdensome regulations.

We're community leaders who have seen Sandy City on the rise and belive we're headed in the wrong direction under this administration.

While we may come from different walks of life, we all agree that Sandy City deserves better! We're issuing a call for new leadership at City Hall!
